Alcatel showcased its Idol 4S smartphone with Android Marshmallow at MWC earlier this year. Now the company has launched the Windows 10 Mobile variant of the device priced at $469 (approx. Rs 31,500).
The device will be sold exclusively sold through T-Mobile and customers will also get a free 45-day trial for Hulu Plus and an additional 30-day trial for Microsoft Groove music service.
On the specification front, the Idol 4S offers a 5,5-inch HD AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. The Android version of the smartphone comes with a QHD display. The new variant is powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC pa9ired with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB RAM, unlike the Android version that featured a Snapdragon 652 SoC with 3GB RAM and Adreno 510 GPU.
The smartphone is equipped with a 21MP rear camera with dual LED flash, while there is an 8MP front facing camera with face beatification mode and LED flash. Storage wise the device offers up to 64GB internal storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card.
