The new Apple iPhone 7 models were launched in two completely new colours— Jet Black and Matte Black, apart from the usual Rose Gold, Silver and Gold.

However, since Apple began shipping the new iPhone 7 variants customers witnessed that the supplies of the iPhone 7 are getting exhausted in Jet Black shade. Apple is facing difficulty to manufacture Jet Black units of iPhone 7, reports suggested. Still, Apple is trying to ramp up the production.

In fact, according to a Japanese website Mac Oktara, Apple is working on another colour variant for its latest iPhone mode. According to an Apple supply chain the colour variant will be ‘Jet White’, which will be made of same material like the one used to develop Jet Black, except, this time it would be white in colour, reported Mac Oktara.

Those who are unaware, Apple did confirm that the Jet Black colour is prone to “fine micro abrasions.” Therefore, the Jet White variant will also face a similar issue. Where it is difficult to find a scratch on black colour, the Jet White colour will be more vulnerable, as it is easy to spot a scratch on white colour.

However, the Mac Oktara has warned readers that the information could be unreliable and should be trusted only after an official statement from the Apple itself.
