Upcoming OnePlus device to come with Snapdragon 821, confirms Qualcomm
The smartphone is expected to come with a 5.5-inch, 1080p AMOLED display, 6GB RAM and 64GB of non-expandable memory with 3000mAh battery.
Rumors regarding OnePlus working on a new flagship smartphone have been taking the rounds lately. Several reports have even suggested that OnePlus’ latest flagship will be a successor to existing OnePlus 3.
While the company hasn’t confirmed any of these reports, Chip maker Qualcomm recently posted a tweet thereby revealing that there is, in fact something new coming from OnePlus soon.
‘Something new from @OnePlus is on the way and it’s powered by our #Snapdragon 821 processor. Stay tuned,’ Qualcomm tweeted on November 7 on their official Twitter account.
Previous reports have suggested that OnePlus is planning on launching their latest flagship smartphone OnePlus 3T on November 14. There have been numerous speculated rumors too, revealing the smartphone’s features.
The smartphone is expected to come with a 5.5-inch, 1080p AMOLED display, 6GB RAM and 64GB of non-expandable memory with a 3000mAh battery life. The handset will run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and is expected be priced at around $479 (approx Rs 32,000).
