Skullcandy is highly known when it comes to audio accessories in India. They have managed to create a mark in delivering products that contain both quality and style. With their recent offering, the Grind 2.0, one can look forward to a unique set of headphones, which caters to both wired and wireless connectivity.

As for the design, the Skullcandy Grind 2.0 products are a treat to look at.

While they are essentially available in two standard colours of blue and white; there are a range of other gleeful options that one can choose from. Grind is built with a plastic casing, solid metal headband and water-resistant leather cover for cushions — good attempt at providing comfort with durability.

The Grind 2.0 is basically a wireless headphone that pairs with your smartphone or music player using Bluetooth. On Bluetooth, you can get a decent range with an operating distance of around 33ft and a 12-hour playback on a full charge. And if you run out of battery power, you can switch to wired mode for a non-interrupted audio experience.

As far as the performance is concerned, we can assure that you won't be disappointed. However, you should note that the audio quality, though above average, lacks in high bass and punch.

Since the headphones are over the ear, and not around it, noise cancellation and leakage are also a concern. However, the device is best used indoors and best suited for average gaming, or watching movies when using it in Bluetooth mode.

The Skullcandy's Grind 2.0 is priced at Rs 7,000, which could seem a little too steep. However, as compared to other similar priced headsets in the market, there is no reason to complain.

The Grind 2.0 offers good aesthetics, added durability, dual wired and wireless connectivity option, a 12-hour battery life and an above average performance.
