A bitter end for Woh Teri Bhabhi Hai cast

Woh Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle, which started off on a good note in January, will telecast its last episode on June 3.

Woh Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle, which started off on a good note in January, will telecast its last episode on June 3. Apparently, dipping TRPs forced the channel to pull the show off air — in just five months. However, the development hasn’t gone down too well with the cast and crew since the production house kept the news under wraps. The lead actors are now upset that they weren’t given any intimation about the development.

Leading lady Krishna Gokani says, “It is sad that the show is ending abruptly. It was shocking to know that we were kept in the dark about the development. The production house expects transparency and honesty from us actors, so why can’t they practise the same How could they keep such heartbreaking news from us When we were suddenly told about the show going off air on June 3, we didn’t even know how to react.” Krishna adds that it is the storyline that led to the show’s failure. She reasons, “I don’t know if the audience can be blamed for the show’s closure. Somewhere, we lost the plot. You cannot give the audience a stupid storyline and expect them to like it.”

Ali Asgar, who was the leading actor for the show, too isn’t happy about the development. He feels that he will have to bear the brunt more than anyone else as the show rested on his shoulders. He says, “I signed up for the show after refusing several others. I did everything I could to save the show but they made too many drastic changes in the storyline and botched it up. Ultimately, it will present me in a bad light because people will say Ali’s show didn’t work. They didn’t even bother giving a notice in advance.”
