Dayaben takes a cue from Nargis Dutt

In the upcoming episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Dayaben (played by Disha Vakani) got a chance to entertain society members with her puppet dance. The actress took inspiration from the legendary star, late Nargis Dutt to perfect her moves. Disha performed on the song Jahan Main Jaati Hoon. She says, “My look and dance steps are inspired by Nargis Duttji, since I was performing on her song. Even though I tried my best to match her steps, I don’t think I could do justice. Since ours is a comedy show, the act had a comic touch. I rewatched the original song from the movie Chori Chori multiple times to learn the steps well. I hope the audience likes the performance.”
