Popular mythological show Siya Ke Ram actors, who are shooting in Hyderabad, are having a tough time filming the pivotal scenes on open ground ever since the monsoons hit the city. The ongoing track is currently inching towards the iconic war between Lord Ram and Raavan. The sequences leading up to the war need to be shot in the open, so whenever it pours, the actors end up getting drenched. To ensure the cast and crew does not lose out on precious shooting time, the makers have now devised a way to combat the sudden showers.

Speaking about it, actress Madirakshi Mundle, who plays Sita in the show, says, “The production has actually made eight replicas of our original costumes. This means every actor has eight copies of the same costume. There have been times when we have got completely drenched, and obviously the costumes wouldn’t dry in time. But because we couldn’t afford to waste our shoot time, we were forced to continue shooting in those damp clothes. We really had a tough time doing that. Seeing our plight, the makers sprung into action and quickly got eight copies made of each costume. So now every actor has sufficient number of costumes and this helps in avoiding delays. The arrangement has been working well for all of us and we are happy that the episodes are getting canned on time.”
