It feels like I am out of jail: Rimi Sen

After being accused of often being an inactive participant on Bigg Boss, Rimi Sen has finally been ousted from the show. And the actress couldn’t be happier. “It feels so good, I feel like I’m out of jail. The two to three weeks that I spent there taught me to value relationships and my freedom in real life,” she says.

According to the other housemates, not doing anything was part of Rimi’s strategy. “I was one contestant who came in without any strategy. So, I always maintained that I deserve to leave, although I didn’t leave even when Bigg Boss gave me a chance. But that’s because I wanted to be evicted through the normal procedure, like it happened now. I didn’t want any dramatic eviction.”

Rimi has also been away from the movies for quite a while despite having hits like Dhoom and Golmaal under her name. “That was a conscious decision. I want to try my hand at direction and I will work towards that now.” Being finally out of the house, Rimi is now looking forward to eating to her heart’s content. “And I won’t be washing any utensils like I had to in the Bigg Boss house,” she says.

So who is her favourite candidate for the winning title, we ask “I think Kishwar Merchant has a good chance of winning. She has leadership qualities and takes correct decisions. Prince is also cute, he could win too.” And who all would she definitely not miss Rimi says, “Rochelle Rao and Mandana Karimi. I would like to run away from them. They used to keep talking all day and their voices hurt my ears. I wouldn’t want to meet them ever again.” She also feels that the wild card entries have upped the entertainment quotient of the show. “Rishabh Sinha and Priya Malik are good. Kanwaljeet is funny and entertaining,” Rimi says.
