She has had her fair share of struggles and has even encountered failure at times. Looking at the contestants and hearing their stories often overwhelms the singer. Neeti recalls the time she heard one of the contestants, Srishti Rawat, sing Lata Mangeshkar’s iconic number Lag Jaa Gale. “When I heard Srishti singing, I was reminded of myself. The way I started my journey on a music reality show, won it and reached where I am today. I could barely control my emotions. The struggle I have undergone came back to haunt me. Only I know how I managed to fight my tears.”
