Nagarjun Ek Yoddha is all set to introduce a new member in its ever-increasing cast. Newbie Richa Mukherjee is the latest entrant on the show. Richa’s entry will start a love triangle between protagonist Arjun (played by Anshuman Malhotra), his love interest Noori (played by Pooja Banerjee) and her. Richa, who will be seen playing the role of a snake woman called Urni, is on a mission to woo Arjun.
Richa has only completed the look test for the show as of now. Nevertheless, she is excited to shoot for the show. When we contacted Richa, she said, “It’s a pleasure to be a part of this show. The character has lot of scope. It gives me a chance to portray a host of emotions. My entry in the show means there will be a love triangle between Arjun, Noori and me. For all you know, my character may probably sacrifice her love for Arjun one fine day. The way my character was narrated to me got me jumping with excitement and I am raring to start the shoot.”
Lately, there have been a host of shows that are based on naagins. Richa adds, “Indian television is undergoing a seismic shift as viewers are looking for more creative concepts. There has been an overload of saas-bahu drama hence even the makers are ready to explore this interesting genre as it is gripping for the viewers.”
