In a bid to make their show even more interesting, the makers of popular religious TV show Santoshi Maa have decided to introduce a brand new segment and have roped in veteran actor Poonam Dhillon for the role of a narrator. In the show, the actress will be seen narrating real-life anecdotes and insights into the goddess.
Commenting on her role as a sutradhar or a narrator, Poonam says, “I am a spiritual person by nature and I personally like watching Santoshi Maa. I think the trials and tribulations faced by the characters are very believable and everyone has gone through similar situations at some point in their life. The very idea behind believing in a higher power is to make oneself stronger and realise that someone is watching over you in troubled times. That’s exactly what I am going to do in the show as well. Every Friday I will be seen as myself in the special sutradhar segment, talking about positivity and belief.”
