Rishabh and I are friends now: Digangana Suryavanshi
Bigg Boss 9 ended with a twist this weekend as the show’s host, Salman Khan dropped a bomb on the participants. This time, the housemates had the power to evict a contestant and Digangana Suryavanshi had to walk out of the house. The recently evicted TV actress says that she is rather happy about the exit. She shares, “I got the highest voting. It’s the contestants that voted me out, not the audience. And it doesn’t make me sad because I have no friends inside the house.”
When asked if she was bullied by co-contestants, the telly actress says that nobody succeeded in tossing her around as she strongly held her ground. “I didn’t get carried away like others. I kept my cool. When I expressed my views, everyone kept quiet and heard me. Most importantly, I didn’t disappoint my fans. Unlike others, I didn’t indulge in politics and didn’t manipulate anyone. I was too real for the show,” says Digangana.
The actress believes that this could be one of the reasons why she was shown the door. She says, “Maybe I came out as a dull person because I didn’t get into fights. I saw people saying things and then contradicting themselves in the house. But I presented my opinions without shouting or yelling, that’s why I lasted so long with grace and self-respect. ”
In the show, we saw the bad blood between Rishabh Sinha and the actress dissolve and a new friendship bloom. She admits, “I think people are more surprised than we are. Yes, I was angry when Rishabh entered the house. He has done and said a few nasty things in the past and I have given it all back to him. But I don’t hate him. He has never been apologetic in real life but was definitely sorry inside the house. I didn’t want to carry that grudge against him through the rest of my life,” she affirms.
