The actress has actually got her wedding outfits and jewellery sponsored by striking a barter deal with lesser-known brands.
A source close to the actress reveals, “Right from the moment she set her marriage date, the actress began approaching lots of lesser known brands with the proposal to sponsor her wedding outfits and jewellery. It was a straightforward barter deal between her and the concerned brands. They sponsor her and in return she would promote the brands in interviews, and talk about them online. Given the stardom that the actress enjoys, the brands lapped up the opportunity to associate with her.” The source continues, “A certain fashion house has sponsored the actress’ wedding gown and lehenga. A jeweller brand has sponsored jewellery worth '3 lakhs for the actress and yet another one has sponsored her mangalsutra and nose ring. Even her fans have offered to sponsor something for the actress.”
When contacted, these brands refused to come on record. We contacted Divyanka Tripathy and Vivek Dahiya and even left detailed text messages requesting them for a reaction, but none of them responded till the time of going to press.
