Reham Khan's tell-all likely to cause 'political tremors'
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s former wife Reham Khan’s explosive book is expected to cause ‘political tremors’ in Pakistan.
Preparations are underway to unveil the book in London.
Reham Khan is eager to publish the book before the July 25 general elections in Pakistan.
Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Hamza Ali Abbasi said Reham Khan in her book had declared Imran Khan as the most evil man to walk on the face of the earth while Reham Khan herself was the most pious, righteous woman ever and former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif was an amazing guy.
Hamza Ali Abbasi claimed there was a big agenda behind the book and added that the timing of the publication of the book was also very important and significant.
The book will be published just before the general elections in Pakistan.
Reham Khan also met former Pakistan ambassador to the US Husain Haqqani.
Meanwhile, PTI chief Imran Khan said that Pakistan had not witnessed any fair election after the general elections held in 1970.
He said that his party wanted the elections to be held on time according to the schedule announced by the election commission.
About the Supreme Court’s decision ending life-time disqualification of former foreign minister Khawaja Mohammed Asif, the PTI chief said the PTI had always accepted the court decisions.
“We had also accepted the court decision delivered by the Bench headed by Justice Nasirul Mulk on the poll rigging”, he remarked, adding, that the PTI did not come on the roads at that time.
