One of the fastest-growing apps on the Play Store was called Remove China Apps and did exactly what the name suggested. While the App has since then been removed from the Play Store for violating Googles policies, its existence and function hurt Indias best interests in the name of helping it. Eliminating or banning a competitor is inherently bad for competition and does Indian consumers a disservice.
