Is Eddie Murphy making a comeback?

Legendary comedian Eddie Murphy could be making a comeback to the big screen, after an accidental tweet on Wednesday night teased a sequel for his 1988 hit film Coming To America.

The actor had tweeted a photo of actress Vanessa Bell Calloway in character from the original film, captioning it “Coming to America sequel?”, but the tweet was deleted soon after, and the account deleted as well.

TMZ.com also reports that a sequel is indeed being made, with sources saying that Eddie is currently writing the script for the film, but is still in the early stages. Vanessa confirmed that she would be on board, but no other actor from the first film has spoken up.
