Kishwer Merchant excited about her wedding

Bride-to-be Kishwer Merchant is over the moon about her upcoming wedding with actor Suyyash Rai. The nuptials will take place on December 16 in Mumbai. The couple fell in love while working together on a show. After six long years of being in a relationship, the two are ready to take their vows.

Opening up on the wedding, Kishwer says, “I am nervous and excited about the wedding. The D-Day is just round the corner. I do get a few nervous pangs but the whole experience is turning out to be very special.” She adds that the marriage was on the cards the moment the two were in a good place professionally. Kishwer says, “We knew the relationship will translate into marriage some day. I am lucky to have Suyyash in my life. He is a wonderful human being.”

The couple, however, have decided to keep their wedding a private affair and the honeymoon destination a secret. The mehendi ceremony will be conducted as per Kishwer’s Muslim rituals and the sangeet will be held according to Suyyash’s Punjabi traditions, followed by a court marriage on 16 December. The couple will later host a grand reception party for their close friends and family.
