The next edition of the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival (DPIFF) Awards is nearing. The grand ceremony always exceeds the expectations of the audience & fans, and it is a night full of the elite, big wins and memorable moments. On January 15, 2022, the Official Press Conference was held in Mumbai to give a head start to the awards this year. The young CEO of DPIFF, Abhishek Mishra, who is also serving as the Advisory Panel Member in the Central Board of Film Certification, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, gave the highlights of the prestigious awards ceremony.
He not only caught everyone’s attention with his magnetic aura at the Press Conference of DadasahebPhalke International Film Festival Awards 2022 but also left everyone with thrilling excitement by sharing about the theme and performance that can be expected at the main event. Abhishek shared, “Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022 will be held on February 20, 2022, at Taj Lands End and streamed live on ZEE5 from7PM onwards. The occasion will celebrate the grandeur of Indian Cinema and commemorate 75 years of Independence (Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav). The award ceremony has set the benchmark by honoring three broad segments of the Indian Entertainment Industries under one roof and will continue doing so.”
The Press Conference was attended by Miss Universe Judge Urvashi Rautela, Subhash Ghai, Annu Kapoor, Pragya Kapoor, Anil Mishra from Ministry of I&B, Col. Tushar Joshi and Mayorof BMC - Smt. Kishori Pednekar is the guest of honour. The Press meet was followed by an informative Panel Discussion with the guests of honour.

At the age of 18, he became the youngest CEO of the eminent organization, ‘Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival’, which was founded in the year 2012 and ever since being hosted by the Prime Minister’s office and Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The organization supports & furthers the true value of talent, appreciating creativity and new talent. Today, it is India’s only independent International Film Festival, with a mission to celebrate the cinema & work of aspiring, young, independent & professional filmmakers.
Abhishek has received accolades from the Prime Minister of India, Home Minister of India, Finance Minister, Health Minister, Lok Sabha Speaker and many others for his excellent contribution towards the Indian society.
