Let’s talk with Pak

This is with reference to Manish Tewari’s article, Talk to Pak, it’s not a sign of weakness (Oct. 29). The tensions between India and Pakistan have only escalated over the years. After the Uri attack on September 18, the relations have reached a stage that getting back doesn’t seem quite likely. Not talking to Pakistan, banning its artistes, etc. is not the solution. This will further deteriorate relations. The two countries should talk and find solutions to their problems. India is not weak; we believe in peace.
