Kolkata: State BJP president Dilip Ghosh launched a personal attack against chief minister Mamata Banerjee for her opposition to the Centre's demonetisation drive. While addressing party workers, Mr Ghosh made derogatory statements against Ms Banerjee and said she has lost her mind after losing thousand of crores of rupees due to the Centre's demonetisation drive.

Speaking at a meeting organised by BJP's youth wing at West Midnapore districts Jhargram area, Mr Ghosh said, "She has been visiting New Delhi and Patna but failed to achieve anything. Now she is sitting at the state secretariat (Nabanna). We had thought that she will ultimately jump in the Ganges. She has lost her mind and we are not ready to see her insanity. The people of West Bengal have realised that they made a big mistake of bringing her in the power." Earlier Mr Ghosh has said that if he was in Delhi when Ms Banerjee had visited, he would have use force to move her out.
