Last month, Xiaomi took the wraps off its latest flagship smartphones — the Mi 8, the Mi 8 Explorer Edition and the Mi 8 SE along with the Mi Band 3. While there's no official word about an India launch, a report asserts that the company might soon launch the Mi 8 SE as the Mi 8i in India next month.
Beebom claims that the smartphone will debut along with the Mi Band 3. The Mi 8 SE runs on Android 8.1 layered with the latest MIUI 10 on top. The handset features a 5.88-inch full HD+ AMOLED notched display. Under the hood, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, coupled with a 4GB of RAM/6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. It is kept alive by a 3120mAh battery.
The device sports a 12MP+5MP dual rear camera setup and a 20MP front shooter. The report asserts that the Mi 8 SE could be priced between Rs 18,000 to Rs 20,000.
The Mi Band 3, on the other hand, features a 0.78-inch OLED display. It has a heart rate sensor, activity tracker, sleep monitor, step count tracker and much more. It is water resistant up to 50m. The fitness band gets call and notification alerts with the ability to mute incoming calls. It claims to deliver up to 20 days of battery life. There is also a high-end variant with NFC support.
